Welcome to Belle Epoque! This is an RPG set in England in the era of Edwardian. Exactly moments before the sinking of RMS Titanic and World War I. Named after the recent king of England, Edwardian era or also called as Belle Epoque, which means the beautiful era, has been a tremendous period. During 1900s-1910s, many famous figures are born to change the world. In fashion, literatures, arts, and politics, Edwardian has noted them all in its history.
So, ladies and gentlemen, now it's your turn to enter the world of this elegant era. to wear your finest classic clothes and hats to enter this world. We have no canon characters and follow no required plots. This RPG isn't based on movies nor books. So, you may create your own character, open a shop, and role-play!

Modern day world setting where you can play a member of the Blood: either a Vampire, Shifter, or Mage. In a city of five million people, a dark masquerade is being played out by the world's most deadly of creatures. Vampires, with their eternal blood lust; Shifters with the ability to change into animals and stalk the night; Mages who can control magic - the city streets have never been more deadly. But there is a danger even more deadly and terrifying than the Blood, creatures who were once human who have become Converted, and now must drink Blood to survive.
As darkness grips the world in passion, war, and intrigue, there is but one hope to survival: don't walk the streets of Blood City alone. You choose your race and stalk the streets, surrounded by a raging battle that has been going on for thousands of years. An eternal war concealed by the darkness in Blood City.

Appearance: As a daughter of a marquees, Vikki has always been kept very neat and pretty, although she cares rather less for her appearance. She has fair skin of a perfect complexion and big, round hazel eyes. Her hair falls just below her shoulders in rich, chocolate curls. She has long eyelashes, long fingers, a petite nose, and arched eyebrows which are not too dramatic yet not so subtle either. She has pretty lips and a very favorable tone of voice.
Personality: Vikki is not the girly type, though she has a feminine touch. Her walk is quite lithe as is the way she looks and dresses, but her spirit is that of a man. She is strong willed and very intelligent thanks to the constant care of her previous governess. She has a strong passion for reading as well as horseback riding and is often seen sporting the latest riding fashions from London.
Vikki understands her father's possition and knows where she stands as a Lady of the court. She welcomes this title with full responsibility and pride for like her father she is very proud, but in a subtle way. She enjoys mingling with the courtiers and can hold her own with any conversation.
Likes: Horses, reading & writing, walks through the woods, politics, tea, town.
Dislikes: When her mother harps on her"poor" posture, arrogant men, boredom.

History: Vikki was the second child and first daughter to be born to the marquess and his wife. Throughout her childhood and even now, her mother, a busy and somewhat obnoxious woman, was always pestering her with tips on how to improve her looks and way of speech. She is never satisfied by what Vikki has to offer, nor does she care when she tries. Vikki endures her mother's fanatic tendencies the best she can for she knows it is all out of love. Determained that she find a husband early in life, her mother sent both she and her sister into society at an early age. While this is all fun and games, Vikki much rather be riding out in the country with her father, an avid horseman himself. She gets along with her father quite well, though she's never really been close with her brother. Her mother is certain Vikki will make anyone an agreeable wife as she is thoughtful and caring.

With the fall of the republic of Rome came the era of Emperors. It was a time believed to be one purely of peace - Augustus had soothed a rebellion, and reformed the army of Rome, creating an unbeatable fighting force. For many years the Roman Empire expanded and became the most powerful force in all of the known world. Time past and so did the line of Emperors.
But something went wrong. A man by the name of Camillus Dexsius Julii was jealous of the move away from the original imperial line. Every day Vespasian grew in both popularity and power as a day spent by Camillus plotting his revenge soon, he had gathered up a small group of followers, which resulted in the assassination of Augustus.
Camillus immediately thought he would be the rightful heir to Augustus, but their was someone he didn't take into account; A man by the name of Manius Sabucius. He was the close friend and eldest step-son of Augustus. He was the one to rise to the newly opened position of power. Camillus was positively furious barely managing to keep his true intentions hidden from the ever watchful eyes of the imperial family.
With the new Emperor; Manius in control, will Camillus be able to successfully befriend him? Will he dethrone him like Augustus? And what of the Empire's borders? With Rome under the constant attack by the Barbarians, will Manius Sabucius avoid assassination? And can he keep those horrid barbarians out of Roman Territory?

Appearance: Joshua has Dark brown hair and brown eyes. His face is shield shaped and is very well structured. He has however slightly inherited his mother’s “Roman Nose” and he is quite paranoid about that fact. He is tall and slim but he has an OK physique.
Personality: Joshua is pretty much your typical Upper Class Gentleman. Educated, stylish, classy. However, he does have a kind and compassionate nature which sets him apart from many men within his social circle.
Likes: Joshua likes the same things as many within his social class. Extravagant parties, champagne, riding and the new craze that is motor cars. He also has a great love of travelling and enjoys visiting far-flung countries and learning things about these countries.

When he reached this crucial age he was sent to Eton school in the town of Eton, across the river from Windsor. After being educated at this school for seven years he was accepted into Oxford University where he studied linguistics. He has only just left University and is now taking a period of rest before pursuing any military careers (the traditional careers of an English Royal).

Personality: Charlotte is even tempered with a simple air to her. When in the presence of someone who she has to impress she would act as if even the middle class was scum. But when she is not around others, she has a kind heart.
Charlotte has a high education and is very skilled and she flaunts it. She acts as if she knows everything and sometimes makes a fool of herself. But she has learned to smile and laugh away the weird looks she gets from by passers.
Likes: playing the piano, riding horseback, reading in the pallor with a cup of tea.
Dislikes: Charlotte doesn't really dislike a lot of things

History: At a young age Charlotte's parents were all killed in a terrible house fire so she was left in the care of her last remaining family member, Catherine Darcey, her fathers sister. Catherine taught Charlotte how to act like a woman and showed her all the ways that a proper life should be lead. But this life doesn't suit Charlotte's personality so when ever she gets a chance she would wander away from the great fortress that she calls home in the country side and goes exploring for anything that she can find.

It’s the 18th century, where anything can and will happen! Individual years have been wiped out, and it’s possible for people from the entire century to meet each other. In our present time we know, that the 18th century was a century for people and stories like Casanova, Marie Antoinette, Pirates of the Caribbean and Dangerous Liaisons – which is the main inspiration for Lost Liaisons.
On Lost Liaisons, you can choose to be an already known person from the 18th century, or you can sign up as your own original character – which is what most of our members have chosen so far; Free spirits, Nobility, Subjects and Immortals wander among each other. Many things happened in the real 18th century, but here you have the chance to renew the old stories and make new things happen. Maybe Marie Antoinette somehow survived the French Revolution and fled to the Caribbean? And what would happen if two very known womanizers like Valmont and Casanova met… or met their female counterpart in the shape of what they long to conquer?
Some of the people of the 18th century lived in the beginning and some towards the end of said century. That's not so important here, the most important is that all are from the 18th century, preferrably from within the Edwardian era (1715-1795). It’s for everyone to meet, and will not be completely historically accurate. This doesn't mean futuristic or characters from ancient times are allowed, but some fantasy can take place, since it already did in 18th century stories like the Pirates of the Caribbean and even Sleepy Hollow. The board is for fun, and not for being nitpicky about anything. Just make sure your character isn't entirely wrong for the period. So, at Lost Liaisons all you have to do, is fill out the application format properly, and you're off to play - you won't have to wait to be accepted.
So... may I ask, what inner demons hide behind that angelic face of yours? Which connections are you ready to make, to unleash them… oh, none you say. Well, the 18th century doesn't wait.

Long ago, or possibly far into the future, or in an alternate dimension, a sentient mortal was jettisoned into an empty void and given omnipotence. Unfortunately, he or she or it did not receive omniscience, though this mortal of an unknown species was very wise. This creature decided to make a system of omniscient gods and demigods to govern the universe of mortals she was about to create.
This world she created was precisely like the standard Tolkienesque fantasy universe, with magic, humans, dwarves, elves and everything else. Here you rpg as immortal people who prod mortals in every which direction, depending on the god they are aligned with, whether they are good, neutral, or evil, or how just plain mischievous they are.
